We have used Don Pangburn and his firm on a continuing basis to perform significant restoration, remodeling and preservation of a historically significant post and beam house on a well-known island in Lake Winnipesaukee. The work that has been done includes (but is not limited to) re-roofing, replacement of major structural components, which had decayed over long years, removal and replacement of architecturally correct window systems and exterior features such as decks and railings. Further, Pangburn did a masterful removal and replacement of a rather famous 80 year old pedestrian bridge, together with the restoration of associated stone work, such that no visual distinction can be made between the old and the new, but the latter now consists of superior materials, assembled with modern techniques that will stand the test of time.

After our home in Meredith, NH suffered extensive water damage from a faulty plumbing fixture, we contracted with Don Pangburn and his firm to not only repair the damage but to remodel some areas of the house that we wanted to upgrade anyways. I rarely provide recommendations for general contractors but I can recommend Don for any residential project without hesitation.
